Salvation Tract

Every religion offers various answers to life's most sought after question; "What will happen to me when I die?" The Bible teaches there are two choices, heaven or hell. God wants none of us to perish but all to come to life. He offers that life freely to anyone who will accept it. "How do we get to heaven?" Unfortunately, even Christian denominations will vary in their answers to these questions. Below we share with you what the Bible really says about salvation. It is our prayer that if anyone reading this does not know Christ, that they will learn enough from God's Word to do so today.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (NIV)

There is One way to Heaven - 'Even For You'

The Bible teaches that there is nothing that we can do to save ourselves. Baptism will not work, church membership will not work, being basically a good person is not enough, and even praying each night will not get you into heaven. The Bible teaches that we must understand our sinful condition and realize that only Jesus can save us. The Word of God says that we must simply believe in Jesus to receive eternal life. Believing means to trust in Him alone for your salvation, for He sacrificed Himself for you. Jesus was sinless - yet He was taunted, whipped, spit upon, beaten, mocked and then put upon a public cross to feel misery for hours before finally, he died. He did all that to save you, a sinner. Only Jesus can provide you with Eternal life. Will you accept his offer today?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)

John 6:47 I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life (NIV)

You can know you are heaven bound - 'Even You'

If you believe that you are a sinner, that Christ came to forgive your sins and offer you a new life, then you can accept that life right now. There is nothing special you have to do, no specific words you have to say and no ceremony you must perform. Just acknowledge those facts and thank the Lord for his free gift of salvation. If you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior, you are saved. You are now a new creation that is guaranteed to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus. You can rest upon the promises of God and know that you are heaven bound!

John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. (NIV)

1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (NIV)
