So Great Salvation

This book is extremely good. It looks at the simplicity of Salvation. Charles C. Ryrie explains that Salvation is all from grace and nothing more, and all we have to do is believe in Christ as our Savior; the key word here being believe. This is one of the main points of the book, for Jesus made it clear that all we need to do to obtain salvation is to believe on Him. Lordship salvation is another view that teaches we need to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord before we can be saved, with their emphasis upon repentance of sin. They take passages dealing with the Kingdom and mistake them for teaching about Salvation, and this is dangerous. Charles Ryrie does a good job in answering those who teach this view. I would highly recommend this book.
